The New Balance XC-72 “Pink Haze” is a spring-ready look for the retro-modern lifestyle shoe inspired by 1970s concept cars. The New Balance XC-72’s sleek silhouette is informed by not only boldly styled concept cars from back in the day, but the design of vintage performance running shoes of the same era, as well. The shoe’s upper features a violet canvas base with Pink Haze suede overlays. An oversized white leather “N” logo appears on either side of the shoe. A black “NB” logo is found on the white leather tongue. The shoe’s black rubber sole with treading extends to the front of the toe, giving the XC-72 an aggressive, contemporary look that also nods to retro footwear aesthetics.
